"ZOE" - Medina Hahn

Medina Hahn is an actress and writer, known for The Janitors (2006), Love Sick: Secrets of a Sex Addict (2008) and Faces in the Crowd (2011). She holds two performance degrees, a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from the University of Victoria, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of Alberta. She has been a performer since the age of three, when she started dancing in order to become a Solid Gold Dancer. She came to writing and creation after working extensively as an actor on new Canadian plays, although she has kept journals since she was nine years old.

A gypsy at heart, when not writing or working as an actress with other companies, Medina can be found travelling. She currently resides in Vancouver.

 

"SEAN" - Steve Major Steve Major is an actor, writer, and co-producer with principal and actor roles in Hell on Wheels (AMC), Heartland (CBC), Three Colours and a Canvass (Vision 10, Indep. Film), and the Beer League: Ramsey Downholers (CityTV/Rogers and V Strategies), a "mocumentary" about ‎a men's recreational hockey team where he plays team captain Rollie Sweetman, leader of misfits.    Steve has film and television training from the Rogues Actors' Studio (Joe Norman-Shaw) and improv comedy training from the Loose Moose Theatre Company (Dennis Cahill), both in Calgary.    Steve has also enjoyed numerous national and local commercial advertisement roles for various businesses and their products/services.   When he is not chasing (and traveling after) after acting gigs, Steve is practicing litigation law in Calgary and driving his two kids to their sporting events.

"PETE" - Pete Balkwill

Peter Balkwill is a co-Artistic Director, and Director of Workshops at the Old Trout Puppet Workshop in Calgary. He holds an MFA in Acting from the University of Washington in Seattle, and a BFA in Theatre from University of Victoria. Since graduating he has dedicated most of his energies to the Old Trout. His company serves a mandate to push the bounds of object driven theatre, creating kinetic shows of exuberant beauty and innocent delight. 

"CODY" - Kevin Weir Kevin Weir is an actor/writer from the great northern city of Calgary. He has been active for over five years, and has appeared in projects such as Hell on Wheels, Samapti, and Lloyd the Conqueror. He’s also appeared in numerous local theatre shows and is stand-up comedian. As a writer, his short film, My Life is a Musical, won an Alberta media award.

"CHASE" - Kenny Wood-Schatz

Kenny Wood-Schatz is a 20 year old graduate from the film school, Vancouver academy of dramatic arts ( VADA). Besides acting he loves reading, playing hockey, and anything to do with sports or the outdoors. Kenny has gone to Africa and done volunteer work for over a month in South Africa and Mozambique, helping build schools and Creches also working on a game reserve and helping with the conservation of animals and the tracking of them. Kenny's dream is to work on a film with Leonardo DiCaprio, and Will Smith.

"THE ROOKIE" - Evan Rein

Evan grew up on in small-town central Alberta where his first experiences with acting began at Cornerstone Youth Theatre in Red Deer. After graduating high school, Evan moved to Calgary to continue acting and has worked with Evergreen Theatre and Storybook Theatre while studying at the Company of Rogues Actors Studio and Loose Moose Theatre Company. His film work includes mainly short student films by Calgary filmmakers. He is currently back in Red Deer with Cornerstone Youth Theatre directing Hercules: A Hero's Tale.
